The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) has released the 2024–2025 school-wide performance outcomes. In January 2025, the United States Department of Education approved the Virginia Department of Education’s amendments to Virginia’s consolidated State plan under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. With the final approval of the Virginia State Board of Education’s accountability reforms, the School Performance and Support Framework regulatory process is now complete.
We are so incredibly proud to share that WHS was recognized by the state as the 2nd highest scoring high school in Region 2! This achievement belongs to our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. I am truly grateful that I get to work alongside such an outstanding group of people every day.
