for the 2017-2018 School Year
For an all-inclusive look at the course offerings in Isle of Wight County, as well as specific information on graduation requirements, please refer to the Program of Studies, a document attached at the bottom of this page.
***Starting on March 13th, counselors will be meeting with students to present information on the scheduling process, graduation requirements, and how your student can select "best fit" courses for their high school academics. Please encourage conversation with your student and encourage your student to seek teacher recommendations for coursework that will fit your students needs and abilities in all subject areas. They will receive a handout on electives and course descriptions to assist in making elective selections.***
Please refer to the attached PowerPoint presentation for information 9th and 10th grade students receive from counselors. In the days following this presentation, students meet individually with their counselor to determine course selections for the following year.
